Christmas Time is here

I cannot believe that it is Christmas time already! I have been done with my Christmas shopping since the middle of october! So the Holiday have been a lot less stressful this year. It is so nice not having to be out and about in the Christmas crowds. I have the opportunity to watch a cute little 2 month old little girl a couple times a week. It is so fun seeing by sons interact with her! Yesterday she was fussing becasue she was hungry so I had to go fix her her bottle and while I was doing that Benjamin came a long and kept her company and gave her her binkie. It was so fun watching him interact with her. He was so gentle about it. Alex is good about inteacting with her as well! SO this is a good experience for my boys and it gives me a little extra spending money as well! But on the other hand it also makes me grateful that I don't have a third child. exspecially when all three of them are yelling at me like they were a couple of days a go. This way I get my baby fix and then at night I can send her home with her mommy!
I am working on a fun project about collecting Christmas tradtions and it is a lot of fun. I am still collecting stuff for it but it has given me a lot to think about!
I really like this time of year because I like feeling the Christmas spirit! I am so thankful for my Savior and for his love for us.

Crazy Black Friday Madness

Okay I admit I was crazy this year and actually went out at midnight to go to Target. It was funny I have never done the Black Friday madness Before. Usually I was one of the poor workers who had to deal with the crazy people out at insane hours. I Had never been one of the crazy people out at the insane hour. But Target Had a special deal on a pair of Slippers that I wanted. So I left the house at 12:30 last night and got to target and the line was all the way around the outside of the store. So I got to seee the back side of target that I normally Do not See. But the Line moved fairly quickily. I think I might Have had more fun if I had some one to talk to. But That is alright. Thank heavens for cell phones. I just called Stephen and that helped pass the time till I got in the Store. When I got in the store There were tons of people just milling around. Unfortunaly I could not find a cart so I had to cary all the things that I found. THen I had to wait in line for 40 or fifty minuters to check out. The Line to check out started at the end of the store where the food was and wound its way down all the isles towards check out. It was a good marketing scheme for Target because as people waited in line they would see something they needed and pick it up as they were waiting to check out. So after standing in line for 40 or 50 minutes By the time I got to the check out counter my arms and hands fell had fallen asleep from holding the items I bought. So I had a hard time siging the receipt because my hands were Asleep. I got home at 2:30 in the morning.
Stephen and the Kids let me sleep in this morning which was nice. Then at lunch time we went to fred meyers and to Toys R us. THe crowd was not as crazy as it was at midnight. So that was nice. AS for doing Black friday Again. I do not think that I will. One time is enough to just say I have done it I don't need to do it again!.

Happy Birthday Benjamin!

Today my Benji is 5. It is so much fun watching my little One grow up. He is able to ride his bike with out training wheels. It is so funny. His friend who is a week older then him refuses to get off his training wheels but Benjamin has been riding with out training wheels for almost 3 weeks. He is learning his letters. He knows his colors and he likes looking at books and telling himself stories. I am so glad that he is in my life! Happy Birthday Benjamin!

Benjamin rides his bike without training wheels

Benjamin has been trying very hard and now he can ride his bike without training wheels. It has been a week since wee took off his training wheels and he loves it it. He still needs a little help starting and stopping but he is doing very Well. I am so pleased with his progress. It is so fun watching my Little boy Grow up and reach new mile stones. I cannot believe that he will be Five this upcoming friday.

Olympic Game Park

This weekend we went to the Olympic Game Park in Sequim (pronounced S'kim)Washington. This is a wild animal park that you get to drive around to look at wild animals. There were a lot of friendly llamas that wanted to stick their heads in the car windows to look at you. Alexander did not really like the friendly llamas looking at him But Benjamin Loved it. My favorite critter there was a kodiak bear. He was so cute. He looked like a great big soft teddy bear that needed cuddling! He also was a ham. He stuck his tongue out at us and grinned at us. It was a lot of fun driving around looking at these wonderful Animals! Here are some pictures of our adventure!

Happy Boys

THis Summer Benjamin has really wanted a bike. He loved riding our neighbors bike but it is kind of hard for them to ride bikes together when there is only one bike between the. So I have been looking all around for a bike for Benjamin. I ended up selling my own bike so that I would have the money to buy Benjamin a bike. I knew that I could not get Benjamin something and not Alex. So As I went Bike shopping for Benjamin I found the Car for ALex. I found the Bike For Benjamin and now that are perfectly content Rding on their bike and their car. It is so much fun seeing them ride down the rode together!

Alex's 3rd Birthday!

This was a fun Day! I cannot Believe that my baby is 3 years old already! We Celebrated Alex's Birthday on Saturday! It was a pirate theme! I made cholacate candy suckers that were in the shape od a skull, a treasure box and an ship! That was fun. We invited the kids from next door over so ALex had someone to play with!

Camping Out in our Backyard

It finally feels like summer. The boys wanted to sleep outside in the tent. So Idecided to put the tent up for them! It took me Two and a hal hours to figure out how and to put the tent up! But The boys loved having the tent to play in. Alex Tried sleeping in the tent but as he wanted just to play and jump all over mommy I finally put him in the house in his own bed and he fell asleep immediatly. Benjamin and I had fun sleeping in the tent! The next morning I was all stiff and Sore! I think I will invest in a air mattress next time I sleep in the tent! It only took me 20 minutes to take the tent down. So hopefully next time I put it up I will be able to do it in less then an hour! It is sad that is has taken till August for it to finally fell like summer!

Vaction Days

We recently Got back from my Grandparents 50th anniversary campout out. We had fun Though all four of us came back with colds becasue the cabin we were staying in was kinda moldy. But we had fun for the most part and benjamin even went swimming in the lake. These pictures were taken at Lake Leonard. Day before vaction

We are getting ready to Go to California for my Grandparents 50th wedding anniversary! I hate all the last minute details. I am packing last minute things and I have a dentist appointment this afternoon. It is just a cleaning! but after all the preparation that goes into a trip or vaction I think I need a vacation from my vacation. I think I will manage to have everything packed so that we can leave at an insane hour in the morning. But my kids are excited to see their grandparants and cousins whom we have not seen in a while. So I guess all the crazynees before a trip is worth it.

Proud TO be an American

My brother is in the army and leaves in a few short days for Korea! I am proud to have an american hero in my family! A friend of mine's husband is in the navy and he left his family for duty today! I am so greatful for these brave men who are serving to protect their famlies and to protect America! I got to see Clayton the other night all dressed up in his miltary dress uniform and I got all teary eyed. He looked so grown up and Handsome! I am so grateful to have Clayton in my family. I love my Baby Brother alot. Hopefully the time will pass Quickly and Clayton will be able to See his family again. I may not be an army wife but my heart goes out to my Sister in law as she supports Clayton serving his country.

Boys full of mischief!

Today has been quite the day. Benjamin and Alex are just full of it. They started out by taking apart their calender and leaving all the magnets on the floor. So while I was cleaning up that mess they decided to get into something else. I finished cleaning up their calander and walked into the dining room to discover Benjamin painting himself and Alex with white out. I did not even realize that I had any white out. So as I came into the room They both looked up at me with their faces covered in white out. I was beside my self wondering how to get it off of them. It is kind of funny now but at the moment I was not really happy with them. So I called my mom asking how to get white out off theire faces and of course she started laughing! Well I managed to get it off of them and I hid what is left of the white out. Of course after I got the white out off their faces I realized I should have taken a picture for posterity! Oh Well! Life is very entertaining with two very active boys!

What A weekend!

This weekend was pretty busy for me. On Saturday I was able to go to the temple and do the work for my great grand Aunt Carroll. That was a lot of fun. Isn't it funny the wonderful words we use to describe our ancestors. Then After that I came home and cleaned up the boys toys and then we were able to go visit my Sister in Law and meet my new nephew Caden. He is such a cute little boy. and he has the bluest eyes that are very handsome. That was a fun visit. Then on Sunday my other niece and nephew came over after church to spend the night. My boys really loved playing with their cousins. Sunday night we played a game called Dread Pirate with Zachery and Sariah and we had a lot of fun. Then on Monday I was able to watch Sariah and Zachery until their mom came to pick them up in the afternoon. They really wore my boys out which was nice. So today I am picking up the House after having four kids run through it. But it was fun having four kids for a little bit.

Trains trains glorious trains

My boys have a huge collection of thomas the train track and trains and I think my biggest boy when it comes to trains is my Husband. He loves setting up all sorts of track for my boys to play trains on. So this is what I came home to the other night in the boys bedroom!

Midnight Snack

So the other night I had put the boys to bed and then was getting ready for bed myself. I was going through the usual routine of checking doors and tucking in my too little boys. Well I went into tuck the boys in and give them a kiss to discover that neither Benjamin or Alexander was in their beds in fact they were not even in their room. So I start looking all over the dark house wondering where they had gotten off to. I discovered them in the pantry under one of the shelves eating granola bars! It was midnight. Of course I could not find the camera but it was kind of funny finding my boys at midnight in the pantry having a snack.

HOw fun is this?

I thought this was a fun Idea. It got me thinking since I really have not been very original Lately. I am just Grateful that my holiday vaction is over. I never want a repeat of that fiasco again. It was good except for 36 hours of it that I really wish I could forget.
